Celebrate Earth Day April 18

Bring the entire family to Peck Farm Park Saturday, April 18, from 11am-3pm, as Geneva goes green for Earth Day. Residents can purchase rain barrels, receive a bicycle safety check, learn best “green” practices, shred documents for free, recycle electronics, donate old textiles, and participate in the “take a book or leave a book program”. Other Earth Day highlights include a kids’ fun run at 11:30am, small petting zoo, chalk art, children’s activities, and chair massages. Families also are invited to walk a 2.5 mile hike prior to festivities, from 8:30-10:30am. Meet in the courtyard and wear garden gloves and comfortable shoes.
