Tee times available for Golf for Kids Outing

The Golf for Kids Benefit Golf Outing – set for June 29 at Orchard Valley – is aiming to raise $25,000 that will fund scholarships that provide opportunities for area children to learn valuable life skills through the game of golf.
Morning tee times are available for the annual Golf for Kids Benefit Outing held on Mon., June 29 at 7:30am (1pm is sold out) at Orchard Valley Golf Course. There will be a shot gun start for each. An evening putting contest will be held, with a $1,000 prize to the winner. Players may register individually or as a group, with the choice of team scramble or individual stroke play. Company sponsorship packages and promotional opportunities beginning at $300 are available as well. This year’s presenting sponsor is Alarm Detection Systems of Aurora. The Golf for Kids Benefit Outing supports The First Tee of Aurora and Fox River Valley, which funds scholarships that provide golfing opportunities and life skills through the game of golf for area youth and children. Registration fee is $185 per player and includes a tee gift (Cutter & Buck CB DryTec Shirt), green fees with cart for 18 holes, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Orchards Restaurant, along with door prizes and raffle prizes that include a 2015 Mustang Coupe, Chicago Bears tickets, a big screen TV and free golf for one year at Orchard Valley. 2411 W Illinois Avenue, Aurora. 630-966-4516, foxvalleyparkdistrict.org.
