Waste Management will Delay Trash Pickup until Saturday

02/02/2015 05:15PM ● Published by Tim

Waste Management of Illinois will operate on a holiday schedule this week, the week of February 2-6, due to extreme weather conditions.

The holiday schedule means that crews will attempt to collect trash on Saturday, for Friday’s regular pick-up.

Waste Management asks that residents leave trash and recycle containers at curbside until end of day on Saturday and they will attempt to collect materials as soon as possible. If Waste Management crews are unable to collect your materials this week, service will resume next week on your regular service day.

“We are working to get your pick-up service back on schedule as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” said Lisa Disbrow, spokesperson for Waste Management of Illinois.
